About
The KJ Youth Department (KJYD) enhances the Jewish experience of our community's children with shabbat groups, holiday programming, and other exciting events throughout the year. Combining Torah and chesed, KJYD fosters a warm and friendly environment for kids to strengthen their Jewish identities while building community.
Shabbat Groups
KJYD's Shabbat youth groups elevate the shabbat experience for students in Nursery - 7th Grade with tefillah, parsha-themed learning, delicious snacks, and creative activities. It's a special opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones, plus special visits from the KJ rabbis, and some surprise guests from the parsha (you never know when Moshe Rabeinu might stop by 😉).
Groups begin at 10 AM and end at 12 PM. Kidzush takes place from 11:30-12 in the 8th Floor Movement Room.
