High Holiday Services - Our 30th Year!

Welcome the New Year with meaningful services offering traditional prayers and a modern message and a chance to learn, ask, and discuss. This year, due to COVID-19, we are unable to gather in person in the same way we usually do. While the classes will be virtual and the Beginners Service will be different, we are offering numerous ways to help you prepare for and celebrate the High Holidays. Please join us to usher in the New Year. We are here to guide, answer questions, and assist you in any way we can.

We are grateful that we can offer in-person services and be able to pray together. However, due to the coronavirus, we require adherence to the following restrictions. Attendees are required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose the entire time they are in the building. This is not a personal decision; the mask is worn to protect others from infection, and non-compliance puts at risk everyone else at the minyan. We advise you to bring your own Machzor if possible. All seats will be separated by at least six feet distance. Attendees are required to maintain social distancing upon entry and exit. Please come 10 minutes early, as it will take time for people to pass through security and get to their service with limited elevator capacity. Similarly, we will be asking people to leave in an orderly fashion.

As per CDC guidelines, we discourage people over 65 from attending without asking their doctor first. In addition, anyone with health conditions such as diabetes, lung disease, asthma, heart disease, and weakened immune system should not attend. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor before coming. Children under age 12 should remain at home to allow room for adults.

You may not attend if you have any of these conditions:

· Cough - Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

· Chills - Repeated shaking with chills

· Muscle pain

· Headache

· Sore throat

· Loss of taste or smell

· Diarrhea and fever

· Feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

· Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19 or in contact with someone being tested for COVID -19 within 14 days from their last exposure.

· If you have returned from international travel or one of the states requiring quarantine before entering New York in the last 14 days.

Please confirm the following statements before registering for services.

Please read carefully and confirm the following statements in order to proceed with registration:
  • I confirm that, at this time and to the best of my knowledge I have not been exposed to someone with a positive lab test for Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
  • I confirm that I do not currently have a fever above 100 degrees or unexplained symptoms such as loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing, coughing, headaches or gastrointestinal difficulties.
