High Holy Day Reservations 2020-5781

ROSH HASHANAH
FRIDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 18
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20

YOM KIPPUR
SUNDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 27
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

We are grateful that we can once again pray together. However, due to the coronavirus, we require adherence to the following restrictions.

Attendees are required to wear a mask over their mouth and nose the entire time they are attending either indoor or outdoor services. This is not a personal decision; the mask is worn to protect others from infection, and non-compliance puts at risk everyone else at the minyan.

We advise you to bring your own Machzor if possible. Doina@JudaicaClassics.com has an all-in-one Koren Machzorfor an unbeatable price of $35.

All seats will be separated by at least six feet distance.

Attendees are required to maintain social distancing upon entry and exit. Please come 10 minutes early, as it will take time for people to pass through security and get to their service with limited elevator capacity. Similarly, we will be asking people to leave in an orderly fashion.

As per CDC guidelines, we discourage people over 65 from attending without asking their doctor first. In addition, anyone with health conditions such as diabetes, lung disease, asthma, heart disease, and weakened immune system should not attend. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor before coming.

Services are open to adults and children ages 12 and over.

You may not attend if you have any of these conditions:

· Cough - Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

· Chills - Repeated shaking with chills

· Muscle pain

· Headache

· Sore throat

· Loss of taste or smell

· Diarrhea

· Fever or feeling feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

· Known close contact with a person who is lab confirmed to have COVID-19 or in contact with someone being tested for COVID -19 within 14 days from their last exposure.

· If you have returned from international travel or one of the states requiring quarantine before entering New York in the last 14 days.

Please confirm the following statements before registering for services.

Please read carefully and confirm the following statements in order to proceed with registration:
  • I confirm that, at this time and to the best of my knowledge I have not been exposed to someone with a positive lab test for Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
  • I confirm that I do not currently have a fever above 100 degrees or unexplained symptoms such as loss of taste or smell, difficulty breathing, coughing, headaches or gastrointestinal difficulties.
  • I confirm that I am in good health and will let the KJ Office know if something changes.
  • I confirm that I will wear a face mask at all times while I am at KJ and I will wash/sanitize my hands or put on fresh gloves when I arrive.
  • I confirm that if I develop symptoms or find out I have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, I will let the KJ office know as soon as possible and will not attend services at KJ.
  • I confirm that I understand that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present.  KJ cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to COVID-19 while worshiping with us.  I am attending KF services at my own risk of exposure.

We are sorry, but your response does not meet our guidelines for this High Holy Days.  Please contact the synagogue office if you wish to discuss your situation.
