10:45 AM / Tot Shabbat
Children 6 and under are invited to join Morah Chevy for all their favorite Shabbat songs and dances. Ramaz Middle School. This is not a drop-off event.
10:45 - 11:30 AM / Groups in Central Park For Grades 1-3
Join Sara from “Grow Torah” and learn about the Parsha and the exciting things that happen in nature! Meets weekly. This is a drop-off event.
9:30 AM - 10:45 AM / Indoor Tefillah Group For Grades 4-6
Join Roni Join Roni Tessler and all your friends for weekly Shabbat groups. Ramaz Middle School - Third Floor. This is a drop-off event.

Shabbat Youth Groups
KJ has a thriving Youth Department, meeting the needs of children of all ages. From Shabbat services, to athletic leagues and everything in between. Contact Aryana Ritholtz for more information.
Shabbat Groups meet at 10:00 am, Starting in September. For locations and times, please refer to our Shabbat Announcements.
Early Childhood: For Toddler, Nursery, Pre-K & Kindergarten.
All children in this division are invited to participate in our interactive and educational Shabbat morning groups. These groups incorporate fun activities, important Jewish lessons and a snack. The morning encompasses playtime with leaders circle time consisting of davening, singing, parsha and story time followed by a light snack.
Junior Congregation
Boys and Girls in grades 1–2 and separately for grades 3-4 are invited to lead and assume various roles in our Shabbat morning Junior Congregation. With a focus on extended Tefilah and Parshat Hashavuah, our goal is to enrich the minds of our “congregants” by inspiring their hearts. The morning also includes parsha games and age appropriate activities followed by a scrumptious Kiddush.
Youth Minyan
Boys and Girls in grades 5–7 are invited to attend. The Shabbat morning program consists of Tefilah and Divrei Torah that are led by the children and an abbreviated Torah reading led by our high school youth leaders. A variety of age-appropriate activities and games are provided for the group. Hot Kiddush and snacks are served weekly.
Tot Shabbat Friday Night Dinners
Celebrate Shabbat at a Friday night dinner with Rabbi Elie Weinstock and Youth Director Aryana Ritholtz. The evening features a special children’s service, storytelling and singalongs, which are followed by a delicious Shabbat dinner and entertainment. RSVPs required. $60 per family.
Youth Shabbatonim
Following regular morning Shabbat groups, a fun-filled day awaits! The Shabbaton commences with a wonderful lunch. Afterwards children and their youth leaders participate in a myriad of shows, games, and performances. This event is not to be missed!
