High Holy Days 2015-5776

WELCOME TO HIGH HOLY DAY SEATING IN THE CLOUD!

As we turn our thoughts to the HIGH HOLY DAYS and KJ technology turns to the 21st century, we are pleased to invite you to join us for HIGH HOLY DAY SERVICES which will take place on:

ROSH HASHANAH:            Monday and Tuesday,

                                                      September  14-15

YOM KIPPUR:                      Tuesday Evening and Wednesday

                                                      September  22-23

See below to reserve your seats for one of our three auxiliary Ashkenaz services, and for the Sephardic Minyan.  Here are the service locations:

1. Heyman Auditorium at the Ramaz Lower School - 125 East 85th Street

2. KJ Chapel at the Ramaz Lower School - 125 East 85th Street (Sephardic Minyan)

3. Falk Auditorium at the Ramaz Middle School - 114 East 85th Street

4. Kaufman Auditorium at the Ramaz Upper School - 60 East 78th Street.    We are pleased to inform you that this year, our beloved ba'al tefillah, Jay Zwiebel, will be leading services exclusively at this location. For the past twenty years, Jay's tefillot on behalf of the congregation have provided the perfect balance of joy and awe. The purity of his voice and his melodies evoke the full range of emotions that comprise  the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur tefillot, allowing all who sing along and harmonize with him to come away from the service with a feeling of renewal and gladness.

Anyone wishing to worship in the Beginners Service, please click here.

All of these services will once again be open seating, first come, first served.  There will be no assigned seats and no saving of seats, so please be sure that all family members arrive early and together to ensure seating satisfaction.

Please indicate below HOW MANY ADULT MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SEATS ARE NEEDED AND FOR WHOM THEY ARE INTENDED.  Beyond those complimentary seats to which you are entitled as a member, you may purchase seats for adult guests, subject to availability.  The cost per adult seat is $250. Children who have completed undergraduate college are charged the adult rate.

A NOTE ABOUT SEATS FOR CHILDREN: KJ does not issue seats to children under twelve years of age. Members' children from the age of Bar or Bat Mitzvah through undergraduate college are considered “Junior Members” and are issued seats as space permits. The charge for a Junior Member is $75.

This High Holy Day order form can only be submitted once, so we urge you to first confer with all family members before ordering seats.  If, after you place your online order, you need to make a change, please contact riva@ckj.org

We look forward to welcoming 5776 with you.

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
