TIMELESS LESSONS:  PROPHETS AND PERSONALITIES

Using the books of the Prophets as well as a look at modern Jewish History, celebrate the end of the week with a burst of intellectual stimulation. Our Biblical tradition and events of the last 100 years provide a wellspring of information and inspiration into our religious experience. Topics to be explored include the conquest of the Land of Israel, assimilation and its consequences, the role of women in Jewish leadership, the Chasidic revolution, and other contemporary issues viewed the through the prism of history.
